Highwood saddles

Better tone and no pain!
Strat® saddle screws have been shredding the picking hands of players since 1954. Highwood has redesigned the vintage saddle so the adjustment screws are out of harm's way while retaining the look of the originals. The use of better quality steel improves sustain, single note definition, and harmonic response.

This is one of those "Why didn't I think of that?" solutions!
On traditional Strat saddles, the height screws feed in (and adjust) from the top of the saddle, leaving them protruding out of the top where they inevitably shred your hands. On Highwood saddles, the height screws feed in from the bottom so they never extend over the top of the saddle—all you'll feel is the smooth polished bridge under your palm.

"As a fan of all things vintage I don't generally go for aftermarket upgrades because they often draw attention visually. These Highwood saddles will look right at home on your old Fender while at the same time improving the function, tone, and playability of your guitar."
